PANCE Prep Plan

I’m planning to start studying for my PANCE next week, focusing first on the three subjects I scored lowest on in my EOC and PACKRAT: Infectious Disease, OB/GYN, and Endocrinology. By tackling these areas head-on, I’ll strengthen my foundation in the topics I need to improve in . For each subject, I’ll dedicate time in the evenings and during breaks in my rotation schedule to read through PANCE Prep Pearls. After finishing each section, I’ll reinforce the material by doing practice questions related to what I’ve reviewed.

I’ll systematically cover all subjects on the PANCE blueprint, spending extra time on high-yield topics like Cardiology and Pulmonology as the exam date nears for a final refresher. For subjects with fewer topics or lower percentages, I’ll review them thoroughly but with a bit less focus. During the week of the crash course, I’ll mainly focus on the intensive review sessions and limit my self-study. In the final weeks, I’ll take two full-length NCCPA practice exams a few days apart. After each, I’ll carefully go over my performance and work on any areas that still need improvement.

My goal is to thoroughly review each subject using UWorld and Rosh Review. This strategy will help me target my weaker areas, solidify my understanding of high-yield topics, and ensure I’m fully prepared for the exam.
